Memorial Day Fun!

Our family usually gets together on holidays if we can. There are still some that can't make it because they live in AR and TN, but this weekend the Blounts came down. We ate and swam at Deland and Bonnie's and as always we had a good time!
Big girls playing in the pool. Not sure why Khloe is so unhappy...

Big "kids" playing volleyball.

Khloe found her a nice little place to sit and eat crackers.

Baby Knox just slept the whole time.  Look at those sweet lips!
I love how our girls are so close and love playing together.

Honors Day and a Special Lady

(I forgot to put this in May's post.) One more end of school activity is Honors Day. Kayden is very smart. I am not only biased, but she received a lot of awards for her hard work. She had the highest average in her class. Smart kid I tell ya.

A few days after school got out, our community lost a great woman.  Mrs. Jackson has worked at GCS for many years and the kids loved her seeing her in the library.  Brecken LOVED listening to her read books every week.  She was such a godly woman and will be missed by so many.

May equals end of school activities, parties, and waiting on summer to get here.  I babysat for Cason one day.
Loved every minute of that.

Mrs. Colson has an art show to show off the students work.  I love seeing what Kayden has created throughout the year.
We also take field trips and have parties at the end of school.  Kayden's class went to Tiger Stripes and got to see some animals like bears, tigers and wolves.  It was a really neat place.
And, the last thing is field day.  Everyone always loves this day.  You get to play games outside all day and get wet....who wouldn't love it?

School is OUT!!!!!

During April we seemed to be mostly busy with sports. Brecken played tball again, and I think she enjoyed it, but was ready for it to be over. She did really good though. There were quite a few first timers on her team, so she just kinda looked at them like they were crazy half the time.

There were only two girls on the team.  Most of the other boys should have played football.

Big Girl and her trophy.  Very proud of that thing!

Kayden finished up her 2nd year of gymnastics.  She does a GREAT job and loves it.

This seems to finish us up before end of school activities begin.
